This particular whisky was drawn from one single 100ltr cask, Cask C-053 that was filled on the 6th of July 2017 and emptied on the 1st of February 2023 making this a five year and six month old Tasmanian single malt whisky. this whisky was diluted to 46% and bottled drawing a grand total of 234 bottles.
As fans of Tasmanian whisky will be aware Apera (Australian-style Sherry) and Sherry casks are becoming harder and harder to source, hence the fact that this label is rarely seen.
We would like to release more but with the decline in availability of the casks it is realistic to expect that within 4-5 years there might not be any Apera/Sherry cask whisky around anymore so if you want to taste an amazing Apera cask Tasmanian Single malt whisky this is your chance!
